Robert Barisford "Bobby" Brown (born February 5, 1969) is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer & actor. He was the husband of Whitney from July 18, 1992-2007. He is also the father of Bobbi Kristina. He's known notably as a member of the New Edition R&B and pop group. Some of Brown's most notable songs are Every Little Step & My Prerogative.

Relationship With Whitney

Bobby met Whitney at the 1989 Soul Train Music Awards. Shortly after they began a friendship; Whitney even invited him to her 26th Birthday Party in 1989. In 1991, their friendship developed into a romantic relationship and in April of 1992 Bobby proposed to Whitney. Their wedding was held on July 18, 1992 at Whitney's New Jersey Estate.

In 1993, Bobby collaborated with Whitney in a song called Something In Common. They performed the song on many occasions such as: 1994 Soul Train Music Awards and Bodyguard Tour Concert: Rio de Janeiro (1994) . In 1993, Bobby's forth child and only child with Whitney; Bobbi Kristina was borned.
